This partnership allows us to support meaningful organizations, including K9 Heroes 4 Heroes and the veteran-focused programs and services of the NRA, through the Shell Tech Legends & Heroes Charities. It’s our way of giving back to those who have selflessly served our country and communities. The event provides participants with an unforgettable experience, fostering camaraderie, shared purpose, and deep respect for the values our heroes have courageously defended. K9 Heroes 4 Heroes
K9 Heroes 4 Heroes (K9H4H) is a 501(3) nonprofit that provides Service Dogs to veterans and first responders at no cost to the recipient, raising all necessary funds to purchase the dogs, specialized gear and equipment, as well as the required training for both the handler and their K9. The organization also offers initial veterinary care and ongoing support to ensure long-term success for both dog and handler.
Service dogs provide emotional support to alleviate PTSD, depression and anxiety, a sense of security, mobility assistance, waking from nightmares and flashbacks, encouraging physical activity and social interaction. This results in increased independence and quality of life for their handlers. Priceless.
